Liquid Image announced four new POV cameras for both water and mountain sports, all on display at CES 2010. They include the mountain-ready Snow Camera Goggle, the Wide Angle VideoMask for scuba divers, the Swim Camera Goggle for the would-be Michael Phelps, and the Wide Angle Scuba Series HD322 Camera Mask featuring 135 degree wide angle lens.

The HD322 is capable of shooting 720p HD video and 5.0 megapixel stills in up to 130 feet of water. The mask features a microSD/SDHC card slot, good for 16 hours of video. However, the four AAA batteries provide only two hours of juice at a time. Liquid Image estimates the price at $350.

For those looking for a little less out of their scuba camera, the Wide Angle VideoMask also shoots 5.0 megapixel stills and D1 video through its 135 degree wide angle lens. The model is depth rated up to 65 feet and features a micro SD/SDHC card slot expandable to 16GB. The unit requires 2 AAA batteries, good for 2.2 hours of video. The estimated price is $200.

For the recreational swimmer, the Swim Camera Goggle features a 62 degree lens for 1.3 megapixel stills and VGA video in up to 15 feet of water. The 4GB internal memory holds approximately 6,000 stills or 90 minutes of video and is expected to retail for $70.

Finally, skiers and snowboarders can try the Snow Camera Goggle when shredding this winter. The specs are similar to those found in the Wide Angle VideoMask with an internal lithium battery powering the device and an estimated cost of $149.

All four devices will be on display at the CES 2010 Liquid Image booth, located at South 3 32042.

Any recommendations/considerations? I am thinking of a gas trimmers, though the Black and Decker cordless (battery operated) looks interesting.
Straight shaft vs. curved? Line diameter?
One of my main gripes with string trimmers is the line feed (or lack thereof). One that works well in terms of line advancing would be good.

I went through two or three Craftsman’s in 2 years, won’t ever buy one of those again. Only reason I went that route to begin with is I had an older one from the late 80s that ran like a champ for 15 years. Got a Troybuilt that didn’t last worth crap. Finally ended up with an Echo model that somebody recommended, its outstanding. I’ve since acquired an Echo blower and chainsaw, all start easy and run well, and all use the same 50:1 mix. Echo gets my vote.

I purchased a cordless 18v trimmer from Aldi’s grocery store last summer for $29.99 brand new.
I’ve used it, beat it, and it works absolutly great. I’ve even cut my entire lawn (takes 2 charges of the battery to completly cut my lawn, which is small, but would be concidered large for cutting with a trimmer)
Long battery life, just awesome. Wouldnt bother with the B&D one at more then twice the price if you can find one at a Aldi’s. Nice thing 2, is that The battery fits in my cordless drill.

I have been using the green bottle, Garnier Nutrisse, for a couple months. It’s okay, but noticing a difference? I’m not sure, it’s hard to tell.
What works for you? I’d like to know if there really is such a product, one that you can actually see a few less wrinkles without paying an arm and a leg.
Or are wrinkles really and truly here to stay? I’m afraid so. But somebody, please convince me otherwise BRIGHTEN MY DAY!!! Just don’t mention face lifts or surgery, I’m a chicken, with no money for that Hollywood stuff.

There was recently a huge thing in the UK. The BBC aired a program that put these creams to the test and Boots No. 7 Protect and Perfect was shown to actually diminish wrinkles in 8-12 weeks. After that aired, people lined up at Boots all over (it is what in the US we would call a drug store) to buy it. It is available now in the US under the name Boots No. 7 Restore & Renew Serum. It is sold at Target and CVS. It sold out when it arrived at CVS in NYC back in July.

Read more – best wrinkle cream.

I have never tried it so I can’t vouch for it. If you Google “Boots No. 7 Restore and Renew” you can read about it.

i m unable to recover the data stored on my WD external hard disk. it says the data cannot be recovered due to i/o error. can u pls help me?

I/O Errors can be cause by a few different issues with the drive. More than likely you have an issue with the drive heads, Pre-Amp, or PCB. I would take the drive into a Professional Data Recovery Firm like www.24hourdata.com They will offer a Free Quote & a No Data, No Charge policy.

If you are unable to recover data stored in your external hard disk due to input/output error then you don’t need to worry more because you there is recovery software with the help of which you can restore the data without any troubles. You can use MAC hard drive recovery software with the help of which you can easily restore data from external hard disk.
